Why hello there.
You might be wondering what this is, and that’s alright.
Curiosity is a wonderful thing!
We OnlyHueman stand by a promise.
That of Perfect Imperfection.
Too often do we lose ourselves to the need for perfection, seeking to minimize the risks before we proceed.
From personal experience, I know that this path leads to nothing but stalled momentum and fear.
To be Perfectly Imperfect is to try your best, and always succeed!
After all, if you could have done better, you would have.
Quite literally.
It’s about understanding that we’re all trying our best, and that in the end, we’re only human.
Born to be imperfect, yet yearning for perfection.
The difference (to my mind) comes in deliniating Human & Hueman.
To be human is to be imperfect. To live, and try, and fail to try again.
To be Hueman is to embrace the spectrum of possibilities inherent to our potential. A veritable spectrum “Hue”, if you will.
A Hueman remembers that imperfection is part of the journey, and perhaps event the point.
It’s a promise to try, and try again. To learn from one’s mistakes, and make the conscious choice to see the glass as half-full.
There is no other choice.
So why then “Only” Hueman, wouldn’t that defeat the whole purpose?
Not quite.
You see, it’s equally a promise to myself. To remember that I too am human, OnlyHueman.
It grounds me, and humbles me. More than just a name, it’s a standard that I set for myself.
One, that I invite others to share.
